| The Narrative Totem Series unites collaborative storytelling and sculpture. Eric O'Leary interviews the client and together, artist and client, create a theme and characters for the sculpture. "Concert Hall Totem" is a celebration of the client's love of music — Black gospel, blues singers, and jazz musicians are all represented in this piece. More than 150 ceramic figures in the "Concert Hall" have their own character because they were hand-made by the many artists at Tariki Studio. |
